This privacy statement explains how I use any personal information I collect about you when you sign up on my website or personally give me your email address in a class.
I take your email address for a variety of reasons, such as:
Notifying you about class times, new courses, special events.
Processing your order, including payment transactions if you choose to pay online.
Providing you with a newsletter.
Sending communications on workshops, events, retreats.
Providing customer service.
Your data will not be transferred to any third-party. I do not and never shall sell your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
If you have consented to join any mailing list, you may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included with each email.
Access to your information and correction:
Under GDPR regulations should you believe that any personal data we hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the ability to make reasonable requests to see this information, rectify it or have it deleted. Please contact me.
How long I keep your data:
I am required under Irish tax law to keep the basic personal data attached to your purchase (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. The information I use for marketing purposes will be kept with me until you notify me that you no longer wish to receive this information by following the instructions included in each email from me to unsubscribe from that particular mailing list.
What are your rights?
If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated at email@example.com. If you still feel that your personal data has not been handled appropriately according to the law, you can contact the Data Protection Commissioner www.dataprotection.ie and file a complaint with them.
